DIY FRANKENSTEIN [Pudding Cups]

If you are looking for a quick and easy Halloween recipe to do for a last minute party, get together or just a special festive surprise for when your little goblins come home today, I have the perfect trick…or treat?!?

These Frankenstein Pudding Cups are, quick, easy and super inexpensive!! You most likely have most of the ingredients in your kitchen, making this an even easier DIY treat! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Any kind of clear plastic cup. You can even use the colored ones if that’s what’s in your cupboards…and if you have extra time and material, you can add those fun googly eyes to the cups for a different twist

  • Any black permanent marker

  • Vanilla pudding mix

  • Milk

  • Whisk

  • Green dye

  • Spoon

  • Oreos

Before you make the pudding, draw your Frankenstein faces on the cups that you will be using, to avoid the condensation from the cold pudding. Make sure you draw the faces towards the bottom of the cup, so that when you’re filling them up, you don’t have to fill them up soo much so you will have enough for all of them. Throw a couple of oreo sleeves into your food processor. The oreos can be either semi-crushed or sand like…whatever your little heart desires! Follow the pudding mix recipe – all you need is milk and a whisk! Once you see the pudding thickening, start adding the green dye until you get the color that you want. All that’s left to do is pour the pudding into the cups and spoon over the crushed oreos and voilá! Stick them in the fridge until they are ready to serve, and you my dear will be the coolest mommy, sister, aunt, friend, teacher on the block!!!

Wishing you and your little monsters a very happy and safe Halloween!!

xoxo,

Sylvia

p.s. If you have orange dye, you can do pumpkin faces! Enjoy!! Don’t forget to hashtag your homemade sweets with, #b2bhalloween14
