We're kicking of the year with bringing back an old series " Blooms of the Month". Since I was little I've always romanticized having fresh flowers in the home and sorting stems with purpose. Over time I've learned about the spiritual symbolism behind colors and flowers and the benefits of having them in the home. I want to explore all the stems you can pick up at your local grocery or specialty wholesale shoppes!

Spiritual Meaning: enlightenment, resilience, longevity, joy, faith, confidence and personal power
The Sunflower has been a symbol of HOPE, FAITH & JOY in a variety of art, rituals, religion and movements.
It’s also a ritual to have a dozen sunflowers in your home in the month of January to signify blessings for each month of the new year.
